Will Marginalia use my manuscript to train AI?
No. Your manuscript is read only to produce your own proofreading report. It is never added to a training dataset or used to improve an AI model.
Do I keep the copyright to my book?
Yes. Uploading a manuscript does not transfer any rights to Marginalia. You remain the sole owner of your work, your characters, and your ideas.
Who can see my manuscript and reports?
Only you. Files, notes, and reports are stored in your private account and protected by Row Level Security. They are not shared, sold, or published.
How long does Marginalia keep my manuscript?
We keep your manuscript and reports while your account exists so you can return to them. Deleting a book from your dashboard removes its files and notes from our systems.
